Assure America welcomed to the public its new location as part of a grand opening with the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce.

The insurance company recently moved into its new location at 3546 Pennsylvania Ave., Weirton, in an effort to keep up with the expansion of the business.

“We outgrew our former facilities,” President Matthew Magnone said.

The office building was designed with a federalist, Greek revival style, including pillars on the exterior, and marble and hardwood flooring inside.

Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce President Brenda Mull said she thinks Assure America has a beautiful building.

“It gives the work place a whole new look,” Mull said.

Magnone explained the building was designed to reflect some of the most popular architecture from when the business was started by his grandfather.

“We tried to keep the décor to the 1920s period when my grandfather came to Weirton,” Magnone said.

Magnone said the business is hopeful it will be able to use the space of the building to continue Assure America’s growth and continued service to the Weirton community.
